Saturday morning September 7 launched the annual “Tunnels To Towers” golf tournament at Creekside which hosted 27 foursomes and a total of 108 players. Scott Followay’s team won with a 12 under par and a total of $21,600 was raised for the cause.
The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is a charitable organization founded in tribute to New York Fire Department firefighter Stephen Siller, who was killed on September 11, 2001, during the September 11 attacks.
Had a great time representing Tunnel to Towers Foundation in Lavelette, WV for the Creekside Golf Course’s 3rd annual golf outing to support T2T!
The remarkable thing about this team is that they had to entirely rebuild their lodge after it was destroyed by a devastating fire this past winter. Donnie, Bill, Gil and the entire Creekside team worked tirelessly to get it ready in time for the outing. It’s fabulous and the food to die for! It never ceases to amaze me how people can suffer their own tragedies and still focus on the needs of others.
